Saturday will be historic for Kansas City’s Folly Theater. “Burlesque Revival at the Folly” will take place featuring many professional performers including Voler, Thieves of Flight, Alacartoona, The Flock, Emily Frost, Lucky Deluxe, Jason Divad, The Lord Mayor’s Company and M’Chelle. This will be the first burlesque performance at the Folly since it closed for renovation in the 1970s. The theater was known as a center for burlesque during the city’s Red Light District history.
